From surf parks to farm retreats, My Way showcases Capricorn Coast diversity
From the region’s up and coming break in surf park innovation, to a 5th Generation, family owned commercial beef property, Sunday’s edition of My Way once again showcased the Capricorn Coast destination, together with the people that make it spectacular. Aired on Channel 9 from 5:30pm Sunday 27th March the show highlighted the future of Surf Lakes, and the history of Henderson Park Farm Retreat.
Proudly commissioned by Capricorn Enterprise, the segment aired in Queensland first, before rolling out nationally the following week, with the feature also available to stream through the 9Now app and website.

After moving to Rockhampton at the age of 19, Jet James made a decision to put his heart and soul into what he did best, and soon became an award winning Australian artist recognised for printmaking, painting and mixed media artworks.
Nowadays, Jet has made a splash on the Capricorn Coast, opening his own gallery in the heart of Yeppoon, sharing his skills and unique techniques through a variety of art workshops.
Continuing its work with Channel 9’s My Way, Capricorn Enterprise was proud to invite the crew to spend time with Jet to discover his passion and love of his hometown.

Jeremy Marou shares his backyard with My Way
He is a musician, youth worker and grandnephew of land rights advocate, Eddie ‘Koiki’ Mabo. With a proud Torres Strait Islander heritage, popular local Jeremy Marou was delighted to spend two days with the crew from Channel 9’s lifestyle program, My Way, showcasing the stunning paradise he calls home.
